Albert Corey is a 59 years old accounting and business coach form Miami, Florida. He is well known as the “Tax Man”. Albert Corey is a senior tax accountant and corporate tax specialist with an experience of more than 30 years. We have interviewed Mr. Corey and asked him some questions about his entrepreneurial and business journey.

  1. How did you become an entrepreneur? Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

When I had to pay the IRS. I wanted to know why!

  1. Can you tell us a bit about your business?

We are an accounting and small business coaching called The Perception System. We are helping businesses and sales professionals how to get qualified leads without spending an arm and a leg. We provide simple and yet easy methods to use that does not require tech or admin skills.

  1. Why are you doing this business?

New business owners and entrepreneurs need to know how to get new qualified leads. Most Failure is lack of clients. Going to stop this. There are simple ways most businesses don’t leverage such as business cards, holding events….

  1. You mentioned business cards, why business cards are still your best lead generator?

Its your best Icebreaker at an event or meeting people. Business cards can also enhance credibility, as they can create a sense of professionalism and legitimacy for your business. Its way to get new prospects to open up. When they do, you know that are a qualified lead.

  1. As an entrepreneur, what are the keys to compete with the big boys?

Branding your self is the key. Once the world thinks you are part of the Fortune 500 club they will run towards you.

  1. As an entrepreneur, what is it that motivates and drives you?

Every day is a new challenge that I must win.

  1. What do you put your success down to?

Determination. We all hit the roadblocks. Working around them is the key.

  1. What would you say are the key elements for starting and running a successful business?

For starting and running a successful business you need two things: mentors and never stop learning. These two are my key elements.

  1. Who inspires you?

Everyone who started from zero and made it to the top. It shows we can all do it and its not luck but determination.

  1. What has been the most rewarding part of your role with the “The Perception System” business?

Most rewarding part of my role is helping small business win, when they are on my same page as Corey & Associates Accounting and small Business Coaching.

  1. What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs who are starting out?

Get mentors and keep hustling and learning every day.

  1. What are your future plans?

To go out and teach small businesses and startups that they can make their dreams come true. And to spread this message on stages everywhere.
